Hello and Happy New Year!
I’m so happy you stopped by my corner of the Internet. In case we haven’t met before, or even if we have, my name is Julia, and you can read more about me here.

It’s been quite some time since I’ve written a blog post, and I’m beyond excited for a new year that I hope will be filled with more blog posts. Speaking of the new year, we’re a week in and if you’re anything like me you might have set some goals or made some resolutions.

Whether or not you’re on track to meet your goals, we still have a lot of time left in the year. If you have a vision for what you want 2019 to look like, or if you’re still trying to figure out what you want, this blog post is intended to encourage you to take steps to get you closer to living a life you love.
Envision yourself a year from now
You probably noticed that today’s blog post is titled 2020 vision. Now, I’m not confused on the year and the vision I’m talking about is less about the diagnosis you might get from an eye doctor and more about where you want to see yourself when 2020 rolls around. If you scroll up just a little bit, you can see the goals I’ve set for myself and 2019, and if I intentionally pursue those goals, I should be closer to the person I want to be, closer to the best version of myself, closer to the girl who’s living her best life, continuing to live a life I love.

Every single choice we make brings us closer or further away from the person we want to become. Today is a perfect day for you to start making more choices that will bring you closer to the person you aspire to be.
If you have no idea who you want to be, think about people you admire. Now, I’m not saying that you should become that person; I’m saying that you could try to develop some of the positive traits that you see in them. All you have to do is start with the small things.
I promise it’s not as hard as you think. There are seven days in a week, and sister, I hate to break it to you, but someday is not one of them. Why not start today? Why not make one choice that’ll bring you closer to the beautiful human you’re hoping to become? I’m not saying that there is anything wrong with where you are today, but you didn’t come this far just to come this far. All I’m saying is to start doing little things that will bring you closer to the person you want to be when 2020 rolls around.
I’d love to encourage you in a vision you have for yourself, so leave a comment down below mentioning your 2020 vision, and check back soon for a reply ((:

If you liked this blog post, it would make my day if you share it with a fellow dreamer because it might just give them the vote of confidence they need to become a doer in 2019.
It would also make me oh so happy and endlessly grateful if you follow my blog. I promise I won’t blow up your inbox – no one likes spam. I’d love to connect with you on social media, too.
Kudos to you if you made it this far. Thank you so much for reading today’s blog post on 2020 vision! I can’t wait for you to stop by Love to Live Ministries again, where you can find a variety of blog posts on IRL with JRN.
